hepatitis C and training

I have just gotten the results showing positive hepatitis C. The treatment is injections of interfurion, which I have read have negitive effects on training. Any tri folks out there that have had exterience with this? If you are in training and being treated for hep C i would like to contact you

Not to sacre you but Hep C is a serious treatment.

interferon treatment will cause severe flu ike symptoms. Speaking to patients who have been on interferon... you basically "feel like crap."

In regards to training I would really speak to your physician, then make sure you get more than one opinion.

Hep C is a serious possibly chronic infection/disease that can lead to cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
The response to interferon has been estimated to be around 50%
The rate for lasting remission is even worse at 10-25% (poynard, 1995) Faced with such serious consequences you should speak to your physician and speak to him/her about the possible negative consequences that can go along with strenuous exercise.
