New Music Recomendation
Okay ladies (guys you are lumped into this...sorry).

I'm going to run 'long' tomorrow. I'm tired of sitting around and doing nothing. It might not be more than 10 miles, but it will be long and slow for me (I've been doing 25-30 minute runs since lately) and I need some new music.

I haven't put anything on my iPod since August and haven't listened to the radio since I updated my iPod the last time in July.

What songs should I download tonight?

There is a favorite female singer thread going on in the LR.

Long runs for me are for more contemplative music as loud pounding gives me a headache.

I mentioned Brandi Carlile in the other thread and she is great contemporay blues if you haven't heard her.

POD "Satellite" and "Boom" (My personal go-get-em song)
Hoobastank "Give it Back," "Crawling in the Dark," and " Born to Lead"

I need the rev up. Leave the slow stuff for soaking time.

It's tomorrow already, but if you've got time, take a quick look at a band called Autovaughn. They're a fairly regional band, and can be kinda loud sometimes but for some reason I love them. They open for another favorite of mine "Here Come the Mummies" a lot in Indy.

Two songs of theirs to check out "Rock Your Body" (this is my go-to pre-race song) and "One More Time"

Thanks for the recs and keep them coming..

I ended up wasting 3 hours getting my hair cut and highlighted (or actually darkened back to a less bleachy/beachy blondie thing) and didn't have time for a run. One of these days I'll start running again!
