Pretty much. Watching Maureen Dowd on Letterman talk about how Republicans send her hate e-mail that starts out "Dear Liberal Slut", I thought to myself, and this is supposed to be the party of moral supremacy, God-worshipping, and family values.

Fairly typical hypocrisy, but then I haven't expected more in quite a long time.

I have to agree with you here trio_jeppy. Hey, that is one.

Besides, I don't understand why anyone would call Maureen Dowd a slut. I always figured she was so nasty, hate filled and vindictive because she wasn't getting any, not because she was a slut.

I actually don't like Maureen Dowd - kind of the crazy lady of the Times Op-Ed. Tends to be nasty towards women in her columns.

I could think of better liberal sluts.

I'd have to go on memory as to precisely what I said and risk the wrath of Slowguy if I'm wrong, but I'd rather be characterised as a Libertarian who nearly equally disdains both of the major parties. Since I'm a conservative, I lean towards the GOP, mainly because they give lip service to conservative issues, even if they piss on them in actual practice.

On a scale of 1- 10, I give Bush a 2, couldn't vote for him. But then I'd give Kerry a MINUS 9,837 (or some such number).

So not entirely impartial.
