I want to buy a trisuit but which one???? I want one to wear in 70.3' to IM. I'm trying to qualify for Hawaii and need all the second I can get. Had anyone tried the new Desoto ITU legal suit?? I love their products but the suit is expensive and once you race in it it is yours!! Any advise??

I wore the De Soto Forza tri suit during IMAZ (and trained with it) and it was the most comfortable piece of triathlon clothing I've ever worn. It felt light and the seams are well-placed and cause minimal chafing (compared to other trisuits - both one and two-piece).

I would say go for it - invest in DeSoto! You'll be glad you did!

I'm a big fan of the zoot ultra suit. I have to wear a two piece deal now, and it sucks, I want a tri suit! or my splish.. none of this two piece business. Your best bet is really to go try on a few brands at a local shop to find what fits you best. Have fun shopping!

Rach, the one piece didnt fit you? I ONLY wear the one piece uniform....much better than the 2 pc.

I also train in a zoot one piece. very comfy.

You mean the thing that goes down to my knees? No, it's too big in the arm holes and knee length.. I need my legs to be freeeee. Hence the itty bitty desotos.

I'm thinking splish flame suit with the uni top over it for Honu in a few weeks, if I get to race.. I hate when the belly hangs out.

Some of us need the coverage!
Which is why i wear the one piece too...belly hanging out is very, very bad.

Jaqui was wearing some custom uni in Florida last year. Looked like a splish bikini top and black racing bikini bottoms.

I think the uni top is quite heavy (thick fabric) and wearing a suit under it would be too much (for me). also wouldn't it ride up? You are going to have to test that on the run....

Its still too cold here to race in anything but tights or knickers and a jacket!

Maybe Ben can work his way into being our uni sponsor next year....think positive thoughts about that one!
