Honestly, it was the cold water. I just can't deal with the cold water. Plus, it was raining lightly that morning and standing in the line up for 30 minutes, I was shivering even with the wetsuit fully on. For the ride, I was probably overdressed, but my feet were frozen and there wasn't much you could do about that.
