My DH referred to these as my "sexy" boots last night:



It was -25 C with snow squalls off Superior yesterday. The highways (including I-75), and most businesses were closed, but we hockey loving Canucks still went out to support our local junior team. I didn't think twice about what footwear to put on - function always beats fashion.

These use to be my work shoes (pre-children) when I lived in BC:


I need an office job so I can justify (to myself) owning some of the previously posted footwear.

I don't know how to post pics...but I do have some Frye Campus tall's that are great. they give me some height, but they are solid, and I can actually slip my metatarsal pad right in them.

I also have Frye Villagers..cuter but not quite as comfy.

i like the Ferragamos' that got posted! My lifestyle is much more casual than that. I wear real heels maybe once a year.

When I got my uggs a few years ago I was so unaware that they were trendy at the time,as apparently was the camping store where I got them for 50 bucks....when they were going for well over 2x that...they last so long and are super comfy.
My feet have grown a whole size since I started running ultras and my feet are nasty, only a good manicure can save them and make them look presentable but that is pretty $$$ to do as often as I need.
So I cant wear cool shoes and they look like crap on me, unless anyone can reccommend styles for big wide ugly feet? For now its all clogs, all the time.

Home with a sick kid so I thought I'd add a few to this thread. I think we should've had a separate thread for comfy shoes, because damn ladies, some of these posted are not sexy. But I digress. Anyway, yes I am still wearing my jammies, and I do have a couple of bikes in my bed room.

These are my blood red patent leather Calvin Kleins. I get more compliments on these shoes than any others I have. And they're pretty comfy too for heels.

ooh fun thread. this is one of my fave shots from our wedding a year ago. i heard after the ceremony that people were like, "ooooh!" when flashes of my feet showed as i walked down the aisle :).

hahahahaha, the photogs had us lift our clothes to show our shoes - my dress was actually floor length and for some reason they wanted him to lift his pants too. i agree, it looks kind of funny, but we did as we were told :).
