I hope this doesn't double post, I typed it then somehow lost it.
I ride a P3 with the post turned forward (tri Geometry). I have the saddle past 1/2 way forward. When I drop a plumb line from the nose of the sassle it is even with the bottom bracket. I have read that some people ride 2cm in front of the bottom bracket. I don't think I could get there. Why

Could it be the rail design of that particular saddle? Try with another saddle and see what happens.

Are you tall? If so you wouldn't want your saddle in front of the BB to achieve a steep angle. Have a look at Dan's chart. It gives the relationship between seat height, effective seat tube angle and saddle to BB position.

I was just wondering why the angle doesn't seem to be able to be achieved. It's an Aspiede(sp) saddle the regular one not the new padded nose one
