Best tubulars?
Looking for opinions and advice on the best tubular tire for racing/TT's up to 40km. Continental Competition seem to be the tyre most available in stores, but what other options are available? What about Vittoria or Michelin maybe? I'm looking for something very lightweight, low rolling resistance, but nothing too puncture prone (maybe some puncture protection).

In my blunt opinion, TUFO makes the best value tyre, period. They are resonably light in their lower end, and keep air like crazy.

One thing- at least on the Jet Special, scrub it in before you race it. The tread has a high life, but you need to get it broken in before you race it. This would include bricks and other things for short amounts of time.

Conti makes a nice tub, Vittoria are overpriced, and I don't know if Michelin even does tubulars any more. Hutchinson makes nice ones, as does Vreddestein. But I think TUFO still has the best value.
