Anybody have any experience with these? Looking for durability and performance opinions. Now that Lew sold to Reynolds it seem you can find some pretty good deals on them.

The only thing I have ever heard about them is that they are REALLY nice and REALLY expensive... but you rpbably knew that already
Deals? Where?

I've been looking for Lew rims lately, but I haven't had much luck.
No experience with them myself, but I've never heard any complaints (except about the cost).

As I recall Lew were recently bougth out by Reynolds Composites. All remaining inventory was liquidated and I believe International Bike Center in Boston, MA. bought all of it, so you would probably have to contact them to get the old stuff, or wait to see what Reynolds puts out in the future.

That has been discussed extensively on the COG forum. See link below and make a search on Lew.

Jim Obrien at Right Gear in Concord, NC, had several used sets for sale. They were used as a racing team's race wheels for a while. Don't know if he still has them, but if you don't mind used...could be a good deal.
