Just got one. The thing is absolutely silent. All you hear is your bike's drivetrain. The resistance is really nice. Very much a real life road feel. The engineering is spectacular. Attention to detail is evident. Check out their reviews at roadbikereview.com. The resistance at the factory setting is very similar to real road riding. 20mph feels like 20mph on the road. Satisfied customer so far.

Welcome to the club! I love mine too. The only gripe I have is that the unit could be a bit sturdier. I'm 200 lbs and somtimes I wish it were a bit more solid. I also abig fan of their customer service. Sould you ever have any issues, they're fantastic.
I have been convinced by you Pooks and by the endless snowfall... plunked down my 3 bills and change for the trainer and a spinervals vid... been tracking it on UPS... Hope to join you guys soon
Get on board. I'll backup what everyone else has said. Great unit and great customer service - I think it arrived on my doorstep two days after I placed the order by phone - I live in Jersey in the UK, so it had a fair distance to travel.
"Language most shows a man: Speak, that I may see thee. It springs out of the most retired and inmost parts of us, and is the image of the parents of it, the mind. No glass so mirrors a man's form or likeness so true as his speech." - Ben Jonson, Timber, or Discoveries made upon Men and Matter.
I got a 1-Up last fall. Best trainer I've ever been on. I also bought a used Powertap (I got a great price from this wicked fast French math professor down in Texas). Given how great that combo works, I'm selling off my Computrainer (watch Ebay in about 3 weeks!).
You know the market has tanked when an investment manager doesn't leave his email addy! :)
Anyway, Julian, mine IS listed. Let me know before you sell on Ebay. I gave my Nintendo version to my son who whined so much I got tired of listening. :)
