I just got my Spinergy Tilium SS front wheel. Nice and true, spins smoothly. I have a question about the rim tape that arrived with it. I have always used Velox rim tape with adhesive backing, this is a stretch tape that just fits over the rim. Should I use this tape, or change to the Velox tape. I dont want to get a flat right before the start of a TT.

KR, as the guy who shipped your wheel I'm glad you like it! The rim tape is good, it's pretty standard stuff, velox is the best though, and you can't put a price on your pre-race peice of mind! See you in Bisbee!
Thanks for the reply Keith, it is a small world. I will change to velox rim tape, trueing the wheel will be more of a hassle, but the wheel is race only so truing hopefully wont be a major issue. Look forward to seeing you at Bisbee.
