WTB: basic GPS bike computer for my dad

He mostly only mountain bikes and just needs something smaller for his bars than his phone. Really only needs to have GPS (no support for power meters, HRM), but if there was a good deal on something a bit fancier we may be interested. Ideally looking to keep it under $100 but that's a very flexible budget depending on what's available.

I have a 920xt watch that I believe I have the quick release that would make it easy to mount to the quarter mounts (and I'm positive I have a few of those lying around). Let me know if that's a direction you'd consider.
