Probably a longshot....
Anybody out there have a Dimond seatpost and/or a Dimond seatpost clamp that they are looking to get rid of?
If so, please let me know. PM me.
Much appreciated!
Figured that this might not turn up anything...but cannot hurt to try, right?
Dimond wont just sell you one??
Not so simple, apparently.
I contacted Dimond and spoke with TJ - to purchase a seatpost and seatpost clamp.
TJ explained that it is not necessarily straight-forward, because of the differences and changes to the bikes and seatposts over the years.
He also offered/explained Dimond's trade-up program - to simply trade-in the used Dimond for half off the price of a new model.
Pretty sweet deal...but way more that I am currently looking to spend.
TJ did say that he is willing to look through the shop and his parts bin, but they do not ordinarily sell the seatpost and/or seatpost clamp individually.
Think I have the seatpost sorted now.
So if anybody has a clamp (where the seatpost meets the top tube beam) that you are not using and willing to sell - please let me know.
Thanks.
calls about seat post...offers to sell you a whole bike to get the part. Brilliant strategy.
Yes, agreed...clever indeed!
Still looking...appreciate any help.
Sell me your Dimond seatpost clamp, please!
Enjoy your holiday weekend!!
I have a new spare, but, by the sounds of it, I better hang onto it.
Dimond came through for me on this...actually seamlessly.
As I was in the midst of the previous search/posts, Dimond was sourcing the parts I needed. I received an email with a shipping notification and an invoice. Also arrived in a reasonable time (before all of the delivery services got overwhelmed, apparently).
I am happy to purchase that spare from you...if/when you have a change of heart. ;-)
Willing to sell that seat post yet? I have a frame but no post.
