How is it okay to make threats like that with seemingly no repercussions?

Why it is that so many in the "Party of law and order" have this bizarre obsession with extra judicial execution?

On Oct 19, Trump called Biden a criminal and then called the reporter a criminal for not reporting it, even though the reporter was asking a question about why Trump calls Biden a criminal. Trump's only evidence was "read his laptop."

The death part is irrelevant though. The point is public spectacle. Kim Jong Un has that part down.

Some of Trump's loyal groupies claim that Trump only lost because the media did not report on Biden's "scandals". Even Trump cannot articulate what these "scandals" are.

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit:
There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

At a minimum he should be disbarred. These kinds of threats in an environment that has been created now have the potential for someone to attempt to carry them out. Further, they act as a deterrent against future whistleblowers coming forward.

And recall Steve Bannon recently said Christopher Wray and Dr Fauci should be beheaded.

Quite the bunch, these folks who work(ed) for Trump.

Yes, well hanging also does the job without the drawing and the quartering.

This is the very definition of overkill.

You're just being alarmist. Windy says there's no chance any of this will incite any violence.

It started - of course - online. Part of the "Q" mythology has been a notion of special extra-judicial military tribunals to be set up to prosecute the "criminals." It started just as firing squads. But became ever-more-elaborate.

It's oddly left wing. Hauling out political opposition for the guillotine used to be a tableau of a communist popular uprising.

To quote the leader of the boys in your link,
"At the moment we're free. But the moment they start trying to take our Constitution is the moment the 2A kicks in, it's the moment where we've got to start telling them, we're not going to take it anymore."

A Constitutional free and fair election just concluded. Oh, it's the fair part that is hanging everyone up. My guy lost, that is not fair! My constitution says you have to be fair to my guy. Only after you have been fair to my guy, will I be free. If I am not free, then I will resort use my 2A freedom.

Proud boys? Yep, not quite men.

The President is calling the election illegitimate, the biggest fraud in American history. His lawyers, who speak for no one but him, make comments like this, calling for the imprisonment or murder of public servants for doing their goddam job, and Trumpists barely bat an eye.

THIS is why we're not just happy that he's out, but happy that your guy lost. You don't deserve a seat at the table when your seat is literally being used to incite chaos, usurp our Constitutional system of government and electoral process, and you stand by and say nothing.

He deserves to be swept into the dustbin of history, along with his enablers, and that includes Trump loyalist voters. You deserve to lose, and to continue losing, until you can find some bare minimum standards by which to hold your candidates and leaders. Not a minute sooner.
