I got the frame the first week of July, but I placed the order the second day it was released. I think they did an initial frame shipment first before the full builds started shipping. Build is almost complete I need to order a longer seat-post and cut the steer-tube as well.

What wheel/tire size are you running in the picture?

Well...I'll take a guess...since Challenge doesn't make 650B Gravel Grinders, I'll speculate 700C for the wheel size. And, since they appear to be the vulcanized TLR models, the tire size is going to be either 38c or 42c (I doubt he'd use the 33Cs on a RaceMax. That would just be silly). And, since it's a RaceMax, I'll bet on the 42s.

How'd I do? :-)

Edit: Oops...I realized I could zoom in on the pics and read the specs right off the tires. Those are Chicanes, so they're 700x33c. Doh! I still stand by the "silly" remark, though ;-)

Ha correct. This is in its "Race" mode so wanted to have something able to ride tarmac pretty easy, as this will be my road bike. I am in the market for some 650B wheels for the "Max" mode and will go 45+ on that. I'm hoping to sell the Hard-tail to fund a nice set of wheels and should be able to tackle most things I ride on in the LP of Michigan.

Now that I've been spoiled by 32 GP5ks that inflate to almost 35mm on a road bike, I've been thinking a frame like this with 38-40 slicks all the time would be fun for road and gravel.

(Give those 33s away and get some real tires.)
