Later this month the Ironman was supposed to be held back in Penticton.
One of the neat things about the event was that pros who qualified for Kona could defer their ticket to the following year, so those who qualified this year could do Kona in 2021, thus having time to adequately recover and rebuild from that late August race. I know that this factor was one of the things that kept some of the pros away in previous years.
Our local pro, Jen Annett was stoked to toe the line here in a couple of weeks, prior to Covid.
