Since the inception of Musselman, this is the first summer there will not be organized triathlon in Geneva since 2004. That is profoundly sad to me.
So I'm launching a new one, socially distanced and well sanitized. The Novel CoronaTri aims to motivate you, entertain you, and energize you for the duration of 2020. In other words, until we can all breathe on each other again.
There's a lot of flexibility in this challenge. You can swim. You can bike. You can run. You can do all three. You can participate as a team or I'll put together a team for you. That's a neat way to meet two people from around the world in different sports.
I'm a race director and I'd rather be directing real in-person races. But for the moment this is what we have and I'm going to do my very best to make it enjoyable. Have a look (from six feet away) and please wash your hands after reading.
