2021 Cervelo P-series
2021 P-series changed colors and now is equipped with Zipp Vuka Bull Carbon bar/Zipp Vukashift AXS90 extensions even in the Ultegra Di2 spec, according to the Cervelo site. Any views about this new cockpit?

Thanks. I like these news colorways minus the Vision front hydration much better.

If they bring that blue to the P5d I’m going to have a serious urge to upgrade my 2020 P5d frame already :|

The color scheme is exactly the same as my 2014 NP3.

Next races on the schedule: none at the moment

That’s a typo in the specs. The vuka shift axs extensions cannot be used with Di2 and are not spec’d on the Di2 bike, as you can also see in the picture.

Thanks, Jeroen. That was my guess as well. What are those extensions?

Those are regular zipp evo 110, from the looks the carbon version. To be hones that is my biggest gripe on that bike because the 110’s need the pads to be tilted as well but that is not default possible.

Thanks. I assume those are regular diameter and can be replaced with another set of extensions (Zipp or non-Zipp) if needed?

Totally agree! Bought my P2 two years ago. Would have chosen this color in a heartbeat.

Hello Jeroen,

We launched a new pad angle kit for the Vuka Clip Earlier this year. It is part 11.6618.030.000 HANDLEBAR VUKA CLIP B1 HIGH MOUNT ANGLE WEDGE KIT (5, 10 AND 15 DEGREE AND BOLTS). Your SRAM local distributor should be able to get it for you.

Best

Hello Nathan,

I know, my gripe is that kit does not come default with the bike when Cervelo chooses this 110 bend. I actually like this aerobar quite a bit but without this armpad tilt kit your arm just barely touches the pad and only for a small piece at the back of the pad.
It makes me always wonder how companies make those decisions to spec their bikes. Choose this type of bend but not the appropriate pad tilt kit.
Like they don’t know it exists or they find it too expensive.....

But thanks for the reply.

Same bike new colors. It still has the jacked up cable routing. It's a nice bike, but there is very little difference from 2020 to 2021.

I heard about the new riser/tilt on the 2021 P5 as well. I assume they ran out of replacement EX-10 risers so finally decided to do the right thing. But the colors of this frame.....

The colorway is hideous. The black with gold could have been one of the best combinations on the market. Once they put neon orange on there as well they ruined the bike. I do like the navy and silver bike, but adding black wasn't great. Two base colors is enough, adding a third color ends up mismatching the bike. If choosing, I'd probably go with the murdered out version. The other colorways are all over the place. Kind of like the first release of black, yellow and pink. Just not my style. Then the alternate is black and white...booooring.

Yes the orange is all wrong.
