I saw an old Retul Vantage system with a wired Zin. I think its about 10 years old. Can i upgraded the software? is there any major difference between a new and old system? Reason i want an older Retul is due to cost. Hopeto have some good advise thx.

If it's wired, it's not a Vantage system, and I'm not sure Retul is still supporting those units unless you're an original owner. I could be completely off on that, though, so you should call and speak to them first. No idea on the software...sorry. Honestly, I like their older software better.

hi Jim, i emailed retul. They said i need to pay us1.7k for the software upgrade and ownership. I will need to pay to attend the course and etc. Totally not worth it. A used 10 year old system is about us4k plus us1.7k. its almost 6k, for a old system. Never thought a old system will cost so much. I am better of with other newer and cheaper 3d systems.
