I believe you can convert the tri version to TT.

I wonder if there's any incompatibility because the fork is different between the two (thinking also about those cover pieces that insert under the base bar, that cover the cables).

Is there no option to buy a draft/speed box like on the speedconcept/BMC? Basically all it is missing (and an XL option!). Incredible value for money!

Does anybody know if the issue with the Di2 cable rubbing in the hole where the cable goes into the bento box has been resolved with the 2019 edition? I think the solution in earlier models was to wrap the cable in some sort of tape to protect it from rubbing. Do you still have to do this in the 2019 version?

I do make a rear box for the trinity that can be purchased here: https://custombikexcessories.com/...ike-rear-storage-box shipping within US is around $9, international around $25.

Shown here on a size small

And on a size large

FYI - Careful with this option. The only way you can use this kit is with the TT handlebars that are much narrower than the Triathlon stock handlebars. In other words if you buy this kit you will also have to buy different handlebars. Also, your steerer tube on the fork will have to be cut down in order to fit the TT configuration. And once you cut it down there is no going back to the Triathlon configuration. Finally, like others said before, once you go TT you can't use the AeroVault water bottle.

The issue with the cables rubbing has not been resolved for 2019. I just had to replace some that split. That issue and swapping brake pads is my only real issue with the bike...otherwise I am a big fan.

My husband wants me to try and fit on his old size small Giant Trinity and sell my Quintana Roo caliente. I think the bike is too masculine.

Guys
Does anyone know if you can upgrade the handlebar/cockpit system on the entry level Giant Trinity (ie the bike above in red)?

If so, would it need to be with the official Giant handlebar system that’s on the Advanced Pro?

Thanks

You can change the stem and bar on the red bike to any after market you want (pretty much any; there may be a few that won’t fit).

If you want to use the higher end Trinity bar and stem, you would also need to buy the fork because it all bolts together.

Thanks that makes sense. What is a particular good value and function bar that would work here?

Also, I presume the Giant hydration system only works on the Giant high end bar?
