Sweet ride dude! The paint on the brake covers really ties that whole bike together nicely.

Thanks for the information! I have just mounted the aerocoach armrests...
Just so I understand you correctly ... you heard about this yourself here on slowtwitch? You tried it anyway -with the bracket, and it broke? What happened? What was the feedback from Aerocoach?
On which side should the bracket be? On the top underneath the foam? How could you see that I mounted it without the metal bracket?

I was interested in the aero coach arm rests so please keep your experiences and info posted.

i know that part of the thread i reply to is a bit older (post 6152, the pictures posted by dirt fighter). still, i would love to know what kind of aerobars these fork-like bars are. i didn’t even know something like that existed.
thanks

The armrests come with a metal supporting plate. The idea is that if you use the inside holes, if you apply pressure to the outside of the armrest it could (will) snap. So you should use the metal plate under the armrest to limit the flex and therefore stop the armrest breaking.
They are not carbon fibre, they are some sort of plastic.
I find this a really strange design - the metal plates obviously add a lot of weight, so why not just design the armrest to be more robust in the first place?
I used the metal plate under mine, but last weekend whilst riding the left armrest snapped in two when I went over some rough road. Arm slipped out and somehow managed to stay on the bike.
I returned to aerocoach and they have given me a full refund. Now I've ordered some wattshop dirty aero carbon fibre ones, that don't need a metal plate and won't break!

This isn't the exact final build but it is my favorite picture of my Slice's journey from green / black / white to present day, and I've been itching to post in this thread for months while plotting out the upgrades. Current end point photo is in the Slice thread - which shows the original headset cap and plastic cap in place.

Here it is: my Ceepo Shadow-R. Probably the only mechanical Shadow-R build in the world but that's what happens when I've got a connection to the frame manufacturer and not shimano/sram.
Full Album of high res pictures here
Specs:
2019 Ceepo Shadow-R - Large
SRAM 1x mechanical (1190 shifter, Red22 RD)
TRP Hydraulic brakes + levers
SRAM Force 1 crank w/ Power2max NGeco and generic NW 56t chainring
Vision Metron Snakebite bars + Vision Metron 81/55 TLR clinchers w/ gp5000 and latex tubes
Benjamin Deal - Professional - Instagram - TriRig - Lodi Cyclery
Deals on Wheels - Results, schedule, videos, sponsors

Hi, there's a couple things I don't get.
One is the blue bit under the saddle. Is that some kind of sling for holding your spare tube? I think I can make out a CO2 cartridge toward the rear of the saddle.
Two, the cranks. Are those ...? Nevermind. Please just explain it?

The blue under the saddle is just me stuffing my flat kit under the saddle and so happens my levers fit perfectly along the rails.
As for cranks, it looks weird as those are my shoes still attached to the pedals. The shoes have a velotoze cover on them so it looks awkward. Otherwise, I run InfoCranks 155 in length.

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but can we get another one of these with the new rig(s)? Curious what your setup is now
new build.
