I am an absolute energy bar nut....I bet I do 3-4 a day on average. Probably more as I use them on long rides. I've ridden my bike 12,000 miles this year so far so I do a ton of volume and a ton of eating. Bars help me bridge the gap.
Clif....still like a candy bar to me and for some reason very satisfying. I'll have one on a ride as well. Under a buck a piece at Walmart.
GoMacro. Super healthy and man they have some good ones. Downside is they are very expensive.
Skratch bars. I like them all, but again pretty spendy. Good ingredients, but not super healthy stuff like GoMacro.
Amrita. Superfood ingredients. Spendy, but tasty as I've NEVER found a flavor I don't like. Pretty dry for on the bike nutrition. Hard to swallow on the bike.
Kates. Fantastic taste. Very expensive, but good calories and ingredients.
RX. I eat a ton of these. Not too bad cost wise at Walmart and egg white protein source. I do not generally use these on a ride.
Taos Mountain. Very nut based in general. Super ingredients. Expensive. Absolutely delicious. Not a ride bar for me.
Rice cakes - homemade. Cheap, VERY moist for ride nutrition. Very healthy. My go to for riding / long course riding.
Breakfast bars - oat and quinoa based...homemade recipe with maple syrup. Cheap, all superfood ingredients. Absolutely fantastic.
I'm missing a bunch...lol...
