Negatives? If you can make it fit I'm not sure there are many. You're going to be limited in how low you can go with your pads and reach is a bit shorter as well. Now, you can compensate for both with negative rise stems and stems of varying length, but then you're weight is going to be pretty far forward.
Also, the AR is going to be a lot twitchier than something like it's older brother the Da. This is a good thing with drop bars, but not sure that is something I want in my TT rig.
Lastly, the AR is a phenomenal road bike. It does everything about as well as it can be done. You'd be losing that by making it a TT rig.
This last point is why I have both an AR and Da. ;)
