I carry Tufo Elite Jet 160, that is very tightly folded. I have previously posted a picture of my folded spare in another topic a while back, and now I can't seem to find my picture.

Veloflex tubulars are the easiest to put on without being pre-stretched IMHO. A Veloflex Extreme is pretty light and supple, can be folded pretty tight. Veloflex Record even better, but they're pretty thin (gret CRR too), not the best protection in case you have some serious miles to do.
Forget Continental tubs if you're in a hurry, and the tubs aren't pre-stretched.

Sorry for the inexperienced question, but i just purchased my first set of race wheels and they are tubulars. I have a race this weekend and i am planning to buy a spare tubular. Do you carry glue with you on the bike as well? Is there a way to pre-glue the tire?

Yes, pre-glue your spare, and let it dry for at least 24hrs before folding it.
Install directly on the rim if needed for your race in case of a flat . No need to carry anythig else but CO2 cartridges/head.

See if your shop has a spare tubular rim. Glue the tire up and let it dry and remove it, light coat is fine. Store your spare on the rim between races

But do make sure to stretch the thing before you race and practice installing it. If you don't know how, have the shop show you on a spare wheel, it takes about 1 minute to learn

  • 19mm 125, 150

Yikes! $190 is a bit steep for me. Maybe the Tufo Elite 160 suggested by Tauren for $53 is a good alternative. I do appreciate the suggestions from everyone.
