I thought I had done that 86 race, maybe a different page for pros? Or I just have run too many years together after all this time. That's why we need guys like you that never throw anything away, keep us all honest!

I can't remember if that was the year I did Hilton head or it was 88 maybe. I would have been right in front of Moats, we battled it out on the run the whole way. I held him off but he out split my by a second or two on the run and I think we had faster run splits than almost all of the pro's that year, whatever year it was.

yes I think 86 was too early, had to be 88 or maybe even 89. I remember Lance raced that same year and didn't do well, we all passed him on the run. Thanks for looking.

Hey Mike, you finished 29th among the pros in '88. Moats was right behind you.

I raced Hilton Head in 88 and 89. Awesome races but HUMID. It was the first time I swam in salt water. I remember getting a postcard with my results. Would love to see the full list of results. Wow that was a long time ago. I'm old!!!!

I am looking for results from Bud Light USTS Chicago. I did a few races back then some time between 85 and 89 I think. I remember one of them was my first triathlon and it was a disaster. I rode to the race on my bike from school on the south side and crashed on the way and then everything went downhill from there. My name is John Landry and would have been age group 20-25.

I am trying to track down the full race results for the 1984 USTS Bush Lake Triathlon in Minnesota and the 1984 USTS Bass Lake Triathlon in California. I competed in both races and can't seem to find the full results (I was definitely not in the Top 10). Does anyone have them?

I have the April 30th 1983 Fort DeSoto (Florida) results:

Men - Scott Tinley
Women - Patricia Puntous
Me at age 30; around 80th percentile for my AG

I can scan and send the printed page if anyone else needs their history.

Thanks for your help with this - I was definitely not Top 10 at the Minnesota or the Bass Lake Race (I have the printed program from the 1984 Bass Lake race if you can believe it). Is there a way to track down the full results for these races (results for all competitors)?

You would just have to get lucky here and hope someone still has them. I probably did the race, dont recall, but certainly I did not keep the old paper results. But of course I always got top 10, so I got that going for me at least... (-;
