This is probably what I like the most about ST. Every time an interesting topic (IMO) gets discussed, some ST denizen pops out of the Ether and contributes with knowledge unknown to me.

Mind if I ask you what your trade is?

I currently do research in kidney diseases and their co-morbidities. But about half of my academic training was in exercise physiology....masters and about 5 years of a PhD before I changed focus to pharmacology.

Sorry, this slipped by. I'm 38. Was a DI collegiate rower. Have always run HR very high. I can run/ride and be comfortably conversational well into the 180s

That's crazy. The 220-age definitely isn't working for you.
