I'm looking for a good sweat-proof seat cover for my new truck. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Mike

I was going to say a simple towel is plenty adequate but, that cover is pretty cheap and will stay in place. Seems like a good recommendation.

I thought towel in the past too and a friend pointed me to these covers. I’ve had one for years now.

What is the back side of those like? I find a towel is not sufficient because the sweat just soaks through and still gets my seat wet.

Very well made, fits perfectly, long lasting (I get 10+ years of daily use).

I take a trashbag and cut the sides so it's about 5 feet long, then put a beach towel over top of that and tuck under the headrest so it all stays in place.

Towel for me. Used to have seat cover similar to that linked, but then wasn't compatible with the side airbags built into the seats of wither of my cars. Just worth checking, fine if the bags are in the pillars, but not if they are in the side of the seat.

Seat shield is great: https://www.seatshield.com/

They're soft like a towel but the backside has a waterproof liner so your seat doesn't get gross. They also wrap around the headrest so they don't fall down like towels. I think they're made in the USA. I have four used ones I'm selling because I sold my car. PM me if you're interested

In Hawaii about half the surfer and biker cars use Wet Okole brand. It is like a wetsuit material that don't mind wet and salt or dogs at all.

Second for Seatshield. I got one about 5 years ago and it still looks like the day I bought it after heavy use. Great product.

I like these from costco and they happen to be on sale. https://www.costco.com/...rd=wetsuitaprilmvm19

It's a little bit tight on my outback but works fine. If you want to take it on and off frequently like to wash it would be a bit of a pain with my car.

When I bought my bike hauler back in 2013 I wanted to get black interior, but was not able without special order. I went with Wet Okole because I had them on previous car and loved them. The reason like the OP was sweat, but also riding in the rain you may have to jump in completely dirty head to toe and the potential for bike grease at times that my transfer to the seats. I thought about cheaper options, but like how these feel and look. Even with hot southern temps and black they are never hot IMO. (I do have a very good UV tint on all windows so that may help)

Wet Okole are not cheap, but I typically own cars for 10+ years so I will get my use out of them. If I were leasing or only keeping the car for a few years I would use something more temporary and cheaper of course.
