I think pink is fair play here

We need 1x to improve aero... Now we need a clutch but that costs us drivetrain drag... So now we need an OSPW to reverse that drivetrain drag. How does it all net out? No idea!

With all that said, I'm a buyer.

and I am happy I have a kid entering college next year and another 2 years later so I don't have to worry about upgrading anything I have for quite some time :)

Just installed the RX800 on my gravel bike, and would be interested in an upgrade to reduce drag, but most likely not going to spend $520 on this. I see Kogel pulleys for $120, as well as a bunch of cheaper OSPW-"inspired" cages on ebay - anyone with experience and/or data on other options?

Yup, it's certainly hard to argue for cost effectiveness of the Ceramicspeed OSPW. With that, we are seeing a lot them on bikes (Pros and Joes) and not all of our purchasing decisions are made on an ROI basis.
