Saw this dude walk by my house yesterday morning. I thought I going crazy so just shrugged it off. The fucker is still “at large”.

A large, adult mountain lion was sighted early Saturday in a Santa Barbara neighborhood, according to the Santa Barbara Police Department.

The animal was seen between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. on the 700 block of Laguna Street, police spokesman Anthony Wagner said.

Those are some big cats.

Spring always brings the mountain lions in to town here. They're always spotted on the popular hiking/running trails and walking around neighborhoods.

They are beautiful animals, but, freaking terrifying.

Long Chile was a silly place.

It’s a male.

We have gay night on Sundays at The Wild Cat Lounge.

No joke. The place goes off!

A few years back when I was in middle school we moved to a house on the edge of where the suburbs meet the forest, but it was definitely more neighborhood than wilderness. We were on our back patio watching some of the older neighbor kids take all their prom pictures by the limo with their parents before prom, and then everyone went to prom, and all the families went inside.

A few days later we were talking with some of the parents, and they were showing us pictures, and maybe 50 yards behind the kids, in some trees on a hill, was a mountain lion just sitting, watching all of the kids and parents.

No one saw it during that night, only when people were looking at pictures later.

Terrifying but beautiful at the same time.
