I have a 2015 B12 with Flo 60 / 90 combo and no issue. LBS swapped wheels during a tune-up, they had to adjust the rear brake to get it sorted. They had to pop out the crank to get at screws on brake, but after all said and done it's great. Seemed like a little work, but I'm no wrench.

BTW - I run with Conti GP4000 SII (23's but seem like 25s on the Flo rims) not much extra clearance but no issues (no rubbing, etc....)

I've just bought a flat stem too for my DA3 (90mm x 0º)....bet I'm going to have the same problem as you!

Can't believe they would ship without the correct bolts knowing that it requires a different set.

Have you worked out the solution yet? I might just see if I can match the ones I currently have to some ones that are 15mm shorter?

This is mine, changed the "normal" bottle to an Elite Crono one, renewed the grips and put a Vision Metron BTA... I'll update the pic later :)

Other changes include the Vision crankset (went from compact to semi-compact this year), Adamo Prologue seat and changed wheels to chinese rims with Novatec hub on front, Powertap GS on the back. Conti Sport race tires and 13mm Pro stem.

Got the stem...shipped without bolts so I will have to make a plan. Haven't been on the tri bike in months (training for an ultra marathon at the moment) so havent even tried fitting it.

I need to change the basebar at the same time and just haven't gotten round to wanting to redo cables etc. Will have a look in the next couple weeks and let you know.

Here's my most recent project, and my first bike build from the frame up. I wanted an aero road bike so I sold my trusty Canondale and bought a used 2015 Felt AR frame off ebay. Other than the etap setup and the Vector 3 pedals just about everything else is second hand, ebay, local facebook cyclist group purchases. I'm VERY pleased with it. 16.3 pounds of aero goodness as pictured. Rides like a dream. The problem with this bike is it makes me want to flip my tri bike to electronic shifting as well and my wallet needs a rest!

2015 Felt AR Frame
Sram Red etap
Compact 50/34 w/165mm Cranks
11/28
Vector 3 Pedals
TriRig Omega X Brakes
Zipp stem / SL70 Aero Drop bars
Zipp 202 wheelset
Torhans bento box

I'm thinking of sending her out for paint after next month's trip to the tunnel. Therefore, I thought I would take some photos for posterity.

Can paint company turn around that quick? Personnaly I wouldn't trust them to be able to. 3-5 Days shipping each way, unless they are around the corner, plus a couple days to sand, etc. I would wait until after the tunnel, but then you start getting into race season, at least around here.

Looks good now.

What kind of design are you looking at?

That's why I said:

😉

Going with a solid color and light on the logos. My first time trial isn't until middle of May. Which should give plenty of time.

I'm new to the board. I got a B14 almost a year ago. I upgraded to the Flo wheels and the Sigma X brakes. The brakes aren't pictured. It has been a lot of fun to ride.

In the midst of converting my 2015 felt ar3 to full triathlon set up. Was convinced after being just really impressed with how the ar3 rides in full aero for long periods. Super fast and light. We’ll see how it goes. Going for yeoleo 88 in the rear, 60 up front, dropped headset, profile design ozero base bars and clip on aero bars for now, ism saddle, flipped the seat post around. Ultegra Di2 groupset, ceramic speed oversized pulley wheel.

Any word on if anyone you know has done a swap out?

My apologies, perhaps the wrong choice of word. Essentially just converting it from an aero road bike to a full time tri set up.

Is there anything and reason to perhaps advise against that and what would the factors be?!

Negatives? If you can make it fit I'm not sure there are many. You're going to be limited in how low you can go with your pads and reach is a bit shorter as well. Now, you can compensate for both with negative rise stems and stems of varying length, but then you're weight is going to be pretty far forward.

Also, the AR is going to be a lot twitchier than something like it's older brother the Da. This is a good thing with drop bars, but not sure that is something I want in my TT rig.

Lastly, the AR is a phenomenal road bike. It does everything about as well as it can be done. You'd be losing that by making it a TT rig.

This last point is why I have both an AR and Da. ;)
