More reach on trek speed concept???
I have a 2018 SC. I already have the ergo long extensions and a mid-far stem.

I have the extension at full reach but still 1.5 ish CM more.

Does anybody have any suggestions for getting a little more reach on the setup??

Thanks so much!

You can flip the elbow pad bracket around at put it on backwards and that will give you a bit more. You can also take the piece that tilts the extensions and flip that around and you'll get a little more reach. Not by the rule book but it works.

I need to get the bar ends farther out. I have a little room for the pads still

Then just flip the bolts and piece that tilt the extensions if that makes sense.

Not a cheap option, but I got the plug in monobar which you can use your own longer extensions and then flip the arm pad bracket as mentioned before

the plug in monobar extensions maximum reach is actually 1 slot shorter than the stock bar's reac.

Then not sure there are options. Unless something custom.

The mono plug in reduces the arm pad reach? It would not affect the actual extension max reach, since you could use a long USE, TriRig, 51 SpeedShop, or Zipp extension.

I ordered the mono with profile design bars, flipped the pads.

If you are still looking for more, your bike is too small or you're too far forward.

Curious to see your set up with you on it

A long mono bar and far stem, that’s a lot of reach! I have a short mono 3/4 maxed out on a mid far stem and I thought my reach was rather long !

The mono plug extension bars has 3 options of reach while the stock comes with 4, i've bough the mono plug extension bar in the past to try and extend my reach as well, and it just so happens that the missing slot was the longest reach. I returned the mono plug.

It may be a lot of reach for you individually, but it really isn't that much reach for some of us. The SC has a very flexible fit system but the achilles heel is the extension reach.

I'm traveling now, but IIRC you gain just under a centimeter of reach by reversing the little tilt piece. You do lose the ability to use the set screw adjustment to lock in your tilt.

With regard to the plug in, I've never used it, but even though you lose some of the reach adjustment in the slotted section, if you choose relatively long extensions you should be able to more than make up for that. Extensions vary widely in length; for instance Hed are only 305, while Tririg are 400. That's a big difference.

Cheapest option - Buy mountain bike grips and put them on the ends, but let them hand off by a couple centimeters. Get the kind with the hard plastic tube under the silicone grip. Bonus is that you'll have the best grip ever. (I'm 6'3" with really long forearms and ran out of reach even with the extra/long/far stock options.)

The tips might flex the tiniest bit, but it's not a part of the bars you yank hard on anyway.
