Di2 Satellite Shifters on AXS
Did anyone catch Jesper Stuyven's bike a Gent? He had Shimano Di2 satellite shifters somehow hacked in to his AXS. Anyone know how this is working? Pretty neat.

If it works like the original etap, you only need a standard momentary button (which the satellite shifters are) There's no brain or processing in the blips. Solder a blip plug to the satellite shifter and you're golden.

Or maybe it's a new type of blip from SRAM...

Interesting. I do not believe it is a new blip, though I might be wrong. Stuyven wouldn't comment on it. His other teammates were using the big blips under the bar tape.

I get why he'd want the Shimano satellites. They are better than the blips.

I had the same setup with 'old' etap and moved them over to my new AXS group, just spliced the wires (I had the Di2 shifters, and purchased some old blips) and sealed them

As mentioned up thread, any momentary switch will work. I use sealed micro momentary switches that are soldered inline and then covered in Sugru. Even smaller than the Shimano switches and work great.
