Speedplay / WattShop

Fresh to the market:

https://www.shopforwatts.co.uk/...s/speedplay-adapters

They look neat and I've been thinking about screwing on my speedplay cleat to my giro's (without the adapter) just noticed that they do the drilling/screwing for you but you have to send them your shoes.
Wanted to see what you guys thought and if any DIY'ers here have done similar solutions.

Cheers!

£80, you send your shoes in, they drill new holes, print the low profile baseplate and ship the shoes back.

A little rich for my blood but given the work that goes into it, I think the price isn’t too bad.

I've drilled holes for people before (for mid cleat) and other than it looking untidy no big deal.

I've got a pair of DMT's I thought about doing something similar on, but I also don't like the "feel" of speedplays vs. shimano, so haven't pulled the trigger on modding them.

*worth noting for US folks you'd need to send your shoes across the pond.
