St. John's Newfoundland, where to swim?
I will be in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada this week. I'll be downtown, near Fort William.

Can anyone recommend a good place to swim? Nothing outside for this Miami boy, please.

Thanks!

I've never swum up there, but you made me laugh with the comment about swimming outside. The harbour is probably still frozen over.

There aren't many pools in St Johns, and the ones there will probably have limited lane swim times. your best bet is likely to google the pools and figure out which one will work with your schedule.

If you like turning alot you could just stay at the Delta... Did it once, joked with a kid when he asked how many laps I was going to do and I replied "100"...

If you have a car, you could check out The Works Aquarena... I've never been in person, but the schedule looks not bad...

At the Aquaarena on MUN's campus, the Mount Pearl Summit Centre, Paul Reynolds Community Centre, or the YMCA.

Here's what pops up on Swimmers Guide:

http://www.stjohns.ca/...ities/swimming-pools
Info about the Rocky Island Masters Swim club http://www.rockswim.ca/Home
The Works Aquarena at Memorial Uni of Newfoundland https://www.theworksonline.ca/aquatics/

Or, if you want to browse to see what else is around:

And put in "St. John's, NL, Canada" for location.

Have fun!

Aquarena or Paul Reynolds are your best bet, the only pool with a LCM option is Aquarena and only for the early bird swims. Also MUN pool (25 yards) or Mews (25m) are OK options. it all sort of depends on where you are staying. Feel free to DM me with any questions.
