Agreed, but we all know that youtube is a wasteland of misguided advice ... unfortunately.

But, luckily, there are some rare gems out there too.

Finally someone who gives worse swimming advice than I do.
With Go Go Boots...I'm in love.

The breathing technique alone is worth it's weight in air.

I couldn’t watch past 45 seconds in. It was just too painful

she was offering a video on how to do free style without getting tired. That, I guess is different than doing freestyle well.

I really wonder if she came up with this herself. I guess actually a catch and pull is just too tiring

Glad I could help. I’m sure this lady means well but oh boy that’s some video. At first, I thought she was starting with the old technique of entering thumb first with your hand then it turned into something far different t.

She is a huge proponent of EVS, the Early Vertical Slice. No wonder I was never a word class swimmer.

does anybody notice teh difference whne she is explaining the "slice" technique vs what she does when she is swiming. Explainig:"slicing" the entire time the arm is moving under water
swiming: enters the waterin the"slice" form but after some minimal movemente inside water she change the shape and orientation of the hand
