Looking to get a rack on a 2015 CRV and checking to see if anyone has experience with the Factory Honda rails and rack, Thule or Yakima? Thanks! Banger
You might be better off installing a hitch and going with a hitch-mounted rack. Less drag and noise, and less potential to take out your bikes. No coasting in running and no crying in baseball
The factory cross bars on my 2017 CRV are fixed; I don't know if that's also the case for the 2015 model. I discovered the cross bars were not the same spacing as the mount points for my Yakima rooftop box, so I drilled some new holes in the box to make it work.
No CRV here, but I would not recommend a roof rack. Only a matter of time before you do something stupid with it. 1up hitch mount is what I have and gets my vote.
