Treadmill Running shoe
I’m starting to do mostly all runs in my pain cave treadmill. My runs are usually in the afternoons and my city is not run friendly unless I make a 30 min drive.

My problem is that I have developed a pain in my bottom foot under my small toe. I’ve ignored it for 2 weeks but after a long run on the treadmill I was in pain the whole week. So I stopped running this week. It’s slowly getting better.

Anyone recommend a running shoe? I was using the ASICS gel tri noosa 11. I think it’s a shoe problem.

Thanks.

I used those shoes for 2 seasons. They're not very forgiving. Not really a good shoe TBH. Almost like a racing flat just twice the weight.

Go for a more cushioned shoe, e.g Hoka or maybe Nike Pegasus turbo.

Thanks for the input. Will be going to the mall this weekend. Leaning towards Nike.

I’ve been running in saucony freedom ISO for most all my runs. Treadmill or road fast or slow. I really like them so far. Shoes are a very personal thing though. I still love running in Nike Free as well.

Could also be an anatomy problem. Asics aren't even close to resembling a human foot at the toebox. Might be worth a look.

Those were my thoughts when I tried them
