Hello ABarnes and All,

What a super video ... Thanks

Besides some draft the pigeon is getting a boost from the ground effect part of the time by flying so low.

Great to see some carbon based life performing well as we watch the silicon based life evolve.

(I raised pigeons years ago as a 4H project .... https://4-h.org/ .)

Cheers, Neal

Awesome. Can I do that in my next DL race?

Reminds me of the movie "Breaking Away" where Dave is motor pacing behind a tractor-trailer and the truck gets pulled over by the cops for speeding.

Putting awesome pigeon bird to one side...

That is the busiest road in the Netherlands, I'm going to assume in the weekend (because otherwise the pigeon wouldn't need to do 100km/h to keep up with traffic; 15 or 20 would be enough). What strikes me as a former driver on that road who now regularly drives the 401 in Ontario is how organized everything is. Slow vehicles to the right, faster ones to the left, and no insane squirreling from one lane to the other because some idiot is blocking the lane. I'm pretty sure the overall throughput on the A2 is higher than on the 401.

Well there was at least one idiot filming a pigeon while driving.

Well, yeah, there's that. I going to assume that was the passenger though :-)
