When was the last time you have seen or used a payphone? There is one in our hospital, not sure if it works?
And speaking of payphones, where would Clark Kent change if he would to come back these days?

There's gas station by my office that has an empty phone booth on their lot. Walking by one day I decided I kind of wanted to see if they'd sell it. If I wasn't positive Mrs Leddy would kill me for bringing it home I would've given it a shot.

I just googled my home town in Ohio. They still have nickle local calls which was also the price in 1977 when I graduated. I think they are one of the few still charging a nickle.

Not sure how up-to-date this website is. According to it, my hometown does not have one.

We have one in our break room at work. It's disconnected though. Would love to rip it off the wall and hook it up in my garage.

Apparently there's a whole market in England for those. I think the American Pickers visited a guy who made a living restoring and selling them.

Well Duffy and I know where there is still a working pay phone, the one surf spot we both frequent that has no cell coverage for 10 miles. They serve a great burger too....But it is a total one off, can't think where I have seen any others in the past decade, or two.
