Not at all. Obviously extremely happy with my first one as, otherwise, I wouldn't have purchased another one in May after my crash. All else being equal, I would buy another one when I return from my trip. It just seems silly to have a bike depreciating for three years while technology and design moves on, maybe there will be something else I prefer when I get back but if I had to make the choice to buy a Dimond again, I would and did. In fact, I called Dimond from the hospital (true story).

Haha, good question. All absolutely brand new. Well, 1,000+ kms same as the frame anyway.

A good question because .... see my other post on ST about my crashed bike being sold by the insurance company to some scrote in Vancouver who parted out buckled wheels, crack aerobars, scuffed components and potentially cracked frame, advertsing them all as 'excellent condition'. The bars themselves were cracked and lethal if ridden over a pothole or something.

I basically handed the entire bike over to the insurance company. Every part of this bike was absolutely brand new in May. In fact, the second set of chainrings (53/39) have never even been out on. I have pics of the old bike with cracks in the bars, the old bike also had Ultegra RD and crank, this has DA RD and Quarq. Old wheels were Hed Jet Black but I didn;t want the black coming off the rim so purchased these Jet+ instead.

Here is the old bike, not sure if you can make out all the components though. I can try and zoom in to some spots if required. I am obviously keen to ensure everyone knows that the bike I am selling is new.
