Damn that was a pretty good pace. But what's the point of being a race bandit if you cut the course?

And I thought getting kicked in the face by a human swimmer was painful. If you got kicked by one of those hooves--ouch!

He didn't cut the course. He was in a later wave and the swimmers going the other direction were on the back portion of swim. I bet he laid down a helluva swim and run time, but his bike split was terrible.

He couldn't find his rack, so he DNS'd the bike!

Too bad, because he would have smoked everyone on the run!

He really bucked the trend and swam the course backwards!

He prob could've run the whole bike course and run course and still won the race. Who says you can't swim fast with your head out the water, and deer-paddling??? Plus, he has very small hands and feet, but a huge engine; this implies hope for small runners/cyclists with breathing problems everywhere:)

Lost timing chip hence the speculation about course cutting. Anyone notice a garmin so we can get the files.

Sh***t, that deer was really moving on, he was def going faster than any swimmer in that race. I'll bet he could win the 1500 m at the Oly, even w/ no flip turns and no push off the wall, and then win the 10K as well. The main problem would be getting him to know that the start gun meant start swimming:)

Most competitors (myself included) were completely unaware he was out there. According to my wife he was actually pretty close to me at one point. Hilarious video and it made the local news (at least it is one way for Tri to make the news...).

Word has it he hid in the woods during one lap of the run.
