How much more black could that be? The answer is 'none'. None more black.

Nice, I can smell that glove from here! Personally though, I would have gone with an airbrushed chick on all fours wearing a dog collar, on the downtube.

Vader would be just a weirdo in a black mask without his storm troopers

I just picked them up to do a sprint tri last weekend. They worked well enough.

If the link doesn't work they're Forté Pro Time Trial Aerobars

Nice DIY. You could potentially re-design that bento to also manage your derailleur cables.

Ok, after all these years, I'll post my bike.

I'm a huge fan of blacked out rides, but I decided to do something different this year.

Thanks. The red stripe on the P5 fork is painted on, and the 2 on the frame I did with vinyl tape. I spent an embarrassing amount of time getting the one around the seat post right.

The entire event (IM) is like "death by 1000 cuts" and the best race is minimizing all those cuts and losing less blood than the other guy. - Dev

Sick bike, is that a Speed Concept box? Why not make it flush with the top tube?

Thanks!
Yes it is. There is actually no way unless you hack the box itself.
The Felt has two water bottle mounts and the SC box doesn't have a way to adjust it.

Just joined the forum, and just picked up my IA16 2 weeks ago. Here it is all geared up for our Annual Double Down to the Beach (200 miles from Burlington, NC to New Bern, NC):

P2C rebuild. I have tuned pretty much everything on the ride. I am still waiting for the Sigma X to come out but other than that and a few other little details it is ready for this maiden voyage this weekend.

I was able to tune the aerobars to have an 8deg tilt and I might go back to ski bend extensions but for now I like how these feel.

Little details to keep everything as aero as possible. Custom bolt on skewers, customized aerobars, custom post, new paint, custom cable entry, tuned all of the parts, 1 X 10 set up running 11/28 x 46t for now but might go bigger depending on the ride this weekend. The gearing works out to match up with a 50/36 x 12/23 which should be fine for the races that I will be doing this year.

14.75 lbs as shown. I also have a Catalyst cover that is pretty light at 160g.

Brake pads shows are for tomorrows ride as I will be riding with my Flo 30s

Really a stunning build, great job!

It has been very fun to ride and I did drop the chain once but that was my issue as I slammed the shifter into the 11 from the 19 and it was just too much and to be honest just a dumb shift anyways. Other than that it was been amazing to ride and I am riding a few of the courses faster than before. I do think that the 46 is alright and I would be able to run an 11/23 for sure for most of the races I am doing. I might be able to up the front to a 48 or 50 but that comes at a fair price. Would I be any faster, that is to be seen but I might but the original spider back on and just run a standard 50t on the front for some tests.
