Another tri shorts thread
Hello all!
I searched through the forums for all the talk about tri shorts and there are some very good threads, but I have a question that I couldn't really find an answer to. Most of the brands that show up a lot (Soas, Betty Designs, Coeur) seem to offer one length of short which is a 5" inseam. I am 6' tall and have large hips and thighs. A 5" inseam on me hits in a weird place and often causes some chafing. I am wondering if anyone has 7" or 9" shorts that they love. I am looking at the Kiwami Prima short (http://www.kiwamitri.com/...-shorts-p/primsw.htm) or DeSoto Riviera (https://www.desotosport.com/product/WRTS1). Does anyone use these or have other recommendations? I will be using these for training as well as my first 70.3. Until now I have used a trisuit for sprints.
Thanks!!

Smash fest Queen have longer inseams on some of their designs. I haven't used them personally though.

Wow! That is exactly what I was looking for. I wonder if anyone has had good luck with their stuff. I might just have to buy some and try it out. Thanks!

Tell us how you get on with it. I'm always interested in having more than one tri-kit around!

I love my Zoot shorts but they are a little, well, short. They tend to ride up and I chafe from the saddle nose. I just peeked at their site and see they have several 8" tri shorts! I wish I had seen these before my race last weekend, haha.

I love my Shebeest shorts, and wore them for all three legs of my HIM (never done a full) without any chafing. They have a 6.5" inseam.
