Hi - I have a couple of questions about selecting a power2max power meter for my Felt F65X cyclocross bike. I currently have an FSA Gossamer Pro Compact (110 BCD) BB386EVO crankset in a BB386 bottom bracket.
Is the power2max Classic FSA Gossamer power meter/cranks compatible with my BB386 bottom bracket. I realize that with the Classic version, an adapter would be necessary to accommodate the 24mm spindle in the bottom bracket (30mm), but is this the only fitment issue? The outer diameter of the bottom bracket measured about 54mm.
Are the Classic FSA Gossamer power meter/cranks and the Type-S FSA Gossamer BB386EVO power meter/cranks durable enough for occasional cyclocross or gravel races?
Are the Classic and Type S power meter/cranks shipped with additional shims to adjust chainline if needed?
What is the estimated lead time for delivery of the above power meters/cranks to Indiana, USA.
Thanks in advance!
According power2max then Classic model is not compatible with BB386 bottom bracket.
But you could try to see if it fits, I have just fitted a Power2max Classic / Rotor 3D24 on a BH G6 frame with BB386 bottom bracket.
That worked fine and there is plenty of space around powermeteret on the side which faces the frame.
