Sending a bike to AUSTRAILIA?!

Anyone have any tips, tricks, recommendations for ways to send a road bike to Australia from the US?

I would certainly love some advice!

yep been talking to bikeflights. They seem "reasonable" at $360. Fedex is a nonstarter at over $800.

bikeflights. The cheapest is to have someone fly with it over as long as you trust them and don't mind the hassle.

Your bike won't work in Australia, it has to do with Coriolis forces, same reason the whirlpool turns the other way in the bathtub. You have the get a southern hemisphere version.

Indeed this is by far reasonable, as I have shipped two bikes in three yrs and was around $400 plus taxes, and custom clearance fees.
