......in 18 months I bet this thread will be renamed: "Remember all those wankers who bough DIMONDs?"....
Possibly...But I bet it could also be renamed "A new bike really can make you faster" The shear desire not to be "that guy/girl" getting passed by everyone while on such a nice looking machine is bound to have some great effect on peoples offseason training!!
Super proud to have worked with Dave at Zipp. One of the brightest guys I know and I couldn't be happier with the bike! ----------------------------- Full disclosure: Zwift, former Zipp and SRAM Design Engineer
Good question: They are Magura RT8s... we don't currently have hydro TT brakes and I love me some hydro! Plus, it is good market research.
Magura has a solid product and it is good to see good tech continuing to pervade into our sport from all angles! ----------------------------- Full disclosure: Zwift, former Zipp and SRAM Design Engineer
I can't seem to figure out how to post from my iPad but as soon as I do, I'll post a pic. I have 3T brezza bars, specialized sitero saddle, ultegra DI2, quarq Elsa pm, zipp 808 for general riding and a zipp super 9 for racing.
Congrats on an awesome bike! You're gonna love ever second you saddle it.
A bike like that deserves some non rusted bolts on the aerobars. Please change them or I will have to send you some ti bolts to replace those bad bolts on the aerobars.
Those bolts got ugly quick. 3T sales a replacement kit, but I'm guessing they will do the same thing. I've been looking for an alternative, though not especially hard. Where might one score these Ti bolts?
