Those shoe things look interesting. Lately I've been running with my bike headlight in my hand. Pretty effective.

I made a headband for my Exposure Lights Joystick (it's a really small helmet light) and use that all the time for running. That way I don't have to worry about holding something and I know if I look at a car, they will see me. It was pretty easy - just used elastic and sewed it together.

I don't run with it set on high, but the ability to have that much light has come in handy for trail running in the early AM

I run with both the Noxgear vest (mentioned in a previous post above) so other people can see me and also use the knuckle lights so I can see where I'm going. I love them both. The vest is super light weight - I don't even realize I have it on and the knuckle lights are light weight as well. I can cinch them down on my hands so I don't have to hold onto them (I have small hands too). I am a person that hates running with stuff in my hands and the knuckle lights don't bother me at all.
