Training plans?
Hi Ladies,

I am finally getting back "on the horse" for triathlon training after busting my arm a few years ago. I have been doing some digging on the site and cant seem to find a general plan that I can start with. My goal is to do a late summer 1/2 IM. At this point, I'm not looking for a coach. I'd love some suggestions on where I could find some good stock plans, to get started.

cheers,
Jennifer

If you have a Garmin, or sign up for Garmin Connect, they have a lot of different free training plans. I use them, and I like that it sends the workout to your watch (except swimming) so you know what you are suppose to do.

When I was getting started, I used the book "Training Plans for Multisport Athletes" and found it very helpful. There are a range of plans for different distances. If you have more experience with the sport, "Your Best Triathlon" is another solid choice.
