Callouses. How to prevent and get rid of?
Quote | Reply
I read in a magazine that pedicure people have some fluid they use to remove callouses. Does anyone know what it is? (I've never had a pedicure and would rather give myself one than spend the $$$).

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine
If you're injured and need some sympathy, PM me and I'm very happy to write back.

Not sure what it is but the money spent on regular pedicures are well worth it. I used to get lots of blisters from running and my friend who has run multiple 50 milers and one attempt at Western States 100 told me to start getting them. No more blisters.

Use this: http://www.amazon.com/...microplane+foot+file

And use a really good foot cream, like the Burt's Bees Foot Cream with Coconut oil.

A pumice stone for less than $2 will work and last for along time. If ever at a beach, walk barefoot or rub sand onto your feet as an exfoliant. Also using Kerasal and/or sleeping with socks with moisturizer in them helps keep the feet from drying out.

I'm not sure what that cream is but I use the following for callouses;

Generic Anticallous Lotion
Foot tub full of hot water + Epson Salt
Pumice Stone
Generic scent free lotion for face and body.

I picked it all up at the local drug store and works great for me.
