That is an amazing bike and set up. It already looks fast in still.

As much as I would like to clean up the front further, it's not worth another 400/ drilling into my top tube.

You can fix your front end without drilling with a little attention to detail.

Hello kppolich,
Your bike is amazing especially the colors. Very nice and is blending together in monochromatically. It looks so stiff and solid. Please tell me how it rides. I have not bought anything modern lately.
Here are my old bicycles and I hope mine are good enough to compete.

Made quite a few changes. I'll add covers to the back wheel for racing.

Please follow up when you are done with that. Is it a Specialized S-Works? It has nice shape without decals.

The frameset is last year's pro model. It came as pictured.

When the S-Works first came out, I really could not adjust a thought of its shape. But I started to like the shape very much as the more I look at it. I have been struggling to make a decision to buy one. There is a local bike shop is selling everything 40% off. I hesitate as I just about to pay for it because this is a modern bike. It is meant for racing on it as soon as you can get your hand on it. It would be too nice to buy it and not racing on it.

Here's the road bike I just built. Nothing fancy about it and I went pretty cheap across the board.
I dig it though :)

Wow, but with a bike that nice you have to podium in all your races.

Ha, thanks! Had my first kiddo this year, so racing has been on the back burner. We've got some killer gravel roads in Mid-Missouri, so she's still been ridden a lot so far.

Can't tell from the pic but are your derailleur cables routed internally in the extensions or are they just very neatly taped to the extensions? I have the PD t2+ and want to find a way to clean up the front a bit and would like to find a way to internally route them through the extensions but not sure if the middle of the extension will allow that. But that looks clean! But I would expect nothing less from you!

that's a very nice set up. were there any challenges in using a BTA bottle mount and ski-bend extensions?

I do not think your bike looks cheap at all as long as it looks good and consistency. It is form and function to me is the most important thing in featuring a bicycle than spending lots of money and ended up a bicycle looking too busy and cluster if one does not care. My CAT Cheetah Carbon Bike was one of the hardest bikes for me to build up. I could spend lots of money for parts and ended up looking misplaced. I am a person who thinks of form and function. If the frame is sharp and curve, then the parts should be sharp and curve. If the frame is sharp and edgy, then the parts should be sharp and edgy.
Here are example of my bicycles and I can improve more and I do not need to spend more money into them: http://www.flickr.com/...xtbicycle/?details=1

At first glance I thought Cervelo was getting into the aero commuter market.
